that's all for now....Bruce
It's been a while since I've posted. Christmas will be here this Wednesday. It's supposed to reach the upper 70's today with some possible stormy weather. A lot has happened since my last post. Here's just a few: Perrin and his family has moved off the farm to Floyd, Va. Lynn and his family has moved off the farm and are still located in Chatham County. Lisa is a new member living in her new home currently owned by Maria. David H. and William are renting space from Tony. Janine is living in Ossetia (Russia) with her family...Georgi and Akeem. They are planning to move back to the farm in April or May of this year. The McMullan family has moved into the farmhouse still currently owned by Perrin. Andy and Stacy had a baby boy recently and have had a house moved onto the farm...work in progress. Ray and Meredith have moved back to the farm. Norma is back in Mexico for a while. Patrick and Rosie now have a 2nd child now living in Oregon.

I've added a new webpage "writings" which will showcase written pieces by members and friends. The first piece is called "Blue Heron stories" by David Ostrovsky. enjoy! You can contact me about sending a written piece on the contact form. The best way to do this for me is:
after contacting me with your interests...
I will then give the okay to send me by email your piece in a Word doc.
Looking forward to band rehearsal later today at our studio. Hello to Chase and Telesa, woofers who recently visited the farm.
Gosh, too many tick bites doing the community workday yesterday (whine, whine) but it's an extremely wonderful day here today in central NC--sunny, breezy but not too warm.
Workday going well at DaveO's house with potluck this afternoon at Steve and Debbie's. Added resource links to the links page. Added some Blue Heron Farm documents (password protected) and some hidden docs to be approved by the community before going public. Members can request info on the hidden links along with the passwords. Added "about" info from an earlier BHF website in the About section.
I've added some older photos to the OLDER PHOTOS section. I'm still hunting for photos taken during the early days of BHF community.
okay, so moving along with this website and the recent BHF newsletter. Looks like if you want to add a blog (and please do) then you have to use the contact form and I will cut and paste into this section. (I really don't mind doing this).
from Bruce: Well, I will start the blogging section off after a pleasant little group breakfast at Tony Mayer's house. I met the new woofers here visiting for the week.
I'm psyched about this working on this website project. Please feel free to add your blog to this section...the more people involved the merrier (methinks). I have hundreds of archived photos and some farm videos which I will slowly add on this site. I most interested in adding new content so let me know if you have photos, ideas, questions. Have a great Mother's Day!
